What are the advantages of system windows and doors compared to conventional ones? As people’s quality of life improves, their expectations for living standards are also steadily rising. Consequently, when choosing doors and windows, people not only look for products with excellent performance but also prioritize safety features such as noise reduction. As a result, conventional windows can no longer meet today’s demands, leading to a growing number of people opting for system windows and doors. Compared to traditional windows, system windows offer numerous advantages.
1. Stability: Compared to traditional doors, system windows and doors offer superior stability. Before and after installation, specialized technicians conduct thorough performance tests on these systems, rigorously examining and verifying each component. As a result, all components are perfectly matched, making the system highly resistant to malfunctions—what we commonly refer to as excellent stability. In contrast, conventional doors and windows are assembled from components chosen individually by the user, so it’s inevitable that they’ll encounter various minor or major issues down the line.
Moreover, systematic products undergo two to three years of R&D and are thoroughly tested in terms of their overall performance—such as materials, the functionality of the entire window and door assembly, and quality. In contrast, ordinary products are merely assembled from off-the-shelf, bulk components available on the market. Some of these bulk products come with warranties, while others may be “three-no” products—lacking any manufacturer’s name, production date, or quality certification—making it impossible to predict their long-term performance.
2. Software: The system window and door manufacturers not only provide products but also offer customers design software, design manuals, procurement manuals, fabrication manuals, specialized equipment, and technical service support—forming a complete industrial chain. In contrast, ordinary windows and doors merely possess the capability to install components based on pre-existing parts.
3. Excellent seismic performance. Whether a standard product has earthquake-resistant and wind-pressure-resistant capabilities depends on the specific components you purchase. However, once these components are assembled, the overall performance will decline significantly—far from being as good as advertised when purchasing individual parts. Nevertheless, system windows and doors are suitable for high-rise buildings and residential homes, allowing for large-scale window designs with ample daylighting areas. These windows offer superior air tightness compared to any other type of window, ensuring that indoor spaces remain dust-free even in windy and sandy environments.
4. Thermal insulation and heat retention: While applying relevant thermal insulation and heat-retention materials to conventional doors and windows can achieve some effect, such measures fall far short of the inherent thermal insulation and heat-retention capabilities of system-based products. System windows and doors often utilize broken-bridge aluminum or aluminum-wood composites, and they feature multiple chambers filled with extensive thermal insulation accessories—such as thermal break strips, thermal insulation cotton, and warm-edge seals—all designed to prevent heat from spreading across the chamber surfaces, thereby ensuring a comfortable indoor environment that stays warm in winter and cool in summer.
The above-mentioned points highlight the advantages of system windows and doors compared to conventional ones. Although these advantages seem numerous, the price is also slightly higher than that of other products. That’s precisely why, despite having so many benefits, some people still choose not to opt for them. However, as people’s living standards continue to rise, we believe that system windows and doors will eventually become commonplace in households everywhere.
